Yesterday evening Michal Urbaniak Band played at the Budapest Palace of Arts. I’ve recorded the whole concert. I was totally amazed, I liked the music very much.
The quality is the same as previous bootlegs: it was recorded with my M-Audio Microtrack with it’s factory default stereo mic. There’s a lot of reverb, and the low-end of the freq spectrum is very muddy.
I don’t want to offend the mixing engineers at the Palace of Arts, but the mixing was (sadly, like on the other concerts) awful. Mika’s voice was quiet, Urbaniak was too loud, high frequencies were cut, low-end was boosted too much.
I hope you’ll like this recording in spite of the annoyances – this is quality jazz music.
