Hi
Really nice program. Is it possible to use it with batch programming – for instance to play wav or mp3 files via command line tools?
I am looking for a program with this specific feature to broadcast weather forecasts on my TS2000 rig :-)

Hello,
SimplePTT can’t do that. Maybe you should look for a command line app that can enable or disable the COM port pins and a separate app for playing mp3/wav files from the command line (I suggest mplayer for that).
hi thnx, realy its realy good ive used it localy with soft switch and relay.its working fine but i’m not able to use its remote option, can u guide me 4 that? nevertheless the less 4 such a useful program.
I’m happy that you like simpleptt.
You should start ptt2dtr, fill in the port and password values to the same values you gave in simpleptt.
The server’s host is the host or IP address of the system running ptt2dtr. After configuring the COM ports and other settings in ptt2dtr, enable forwarding and of course enable remote PTT and now you should be able to control PTT remotely using simpleptt and ptt2dtr.
